What you will see.

Twisting the weave. The Exhibition opened in Dorchester where we were treated to a display of hurdlemaking by Peter J Lane of Alderholt ('phone 01425 654413 if you need some hurdles.) Here we see him apply the all important twist that means the wood fibres travel a longer curve and prevents the hurdle breaking at the ends.

Unfortunately you will not see Peter in person when you visit the exhibition but you will see much of his work for he has woven hurdles upon which many of the rest of the exhibits are displayed.

Hurdles and broomsticks.
Coppice products: Hurdles, rakes, spars and enough broomsticks to make Harry Potter envious.

Teatime?
Verwood Pottery is on display too as in this homely table setting...

Bigger pots too.
...and much, much more. Why not come and see for yourself?
